Brown Sugar Catering defines a catered event as one where Chef Dotti and/or staff remain at your event for a specified amount of time. It would include any rental equipment (china, chafers, trays, coffee urns, tablecloths, utensils, etc.), wait staff, bartenders, etc., which are added to your invoice. If you would rather use “green products” or plastic items (plates, napkins, cups, utensils, tablecloth’s), we have the capability to provide those also. Additionally CT sales tax, gratuity and delivery charges would also be applied.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required thirty (30) days before the catered events and the remainder is due the day before the event. If final payments is being made by credit card, it must be processed at least three (3) days before the event.
Final count for all catered events must be confirmed ten (10) days in advance.
An individual/drop-off order occurs when Chef Dotti prepares your culinary delights and it is dropped off to you or you pick it up. You are responsible for chafers, serving trays/utensils, etc. The CT sales tax, gratuity and delivery charges would be applied.
Orders should be placed 72 hours in advance. Orders placed without advance notice will require an additional charge.
Same day orders are available on a limited basis, with an additional charge. The additional charge is not assessed on same day cookie/brownie orders.
Prices do not include Connecticut sales tax, gratuity or delivery charges.
For all orders, the following cancellation policy is in effect:
If you cancel your event/order less two (2) to ten (10) days before the event/order, 50% of total due will be assessed;
If you cancel your event/order less than 24 hours before the event; 100% of total is due.
Non-profit discounts are available.
