Chef Dotti took our “Country Chic” vision for a wedding and arranged more than we could possibly imagine. Her staff were fantastic and very accommodating while working in our old farm house kitchen – preparing and delivery fantastic foods regardless of tight quarters, blown electrical fuses, and serving our guests in the backyard tent. The next time we are planning an event, Dotti and Brown Sugar Catering will be our choice.

We LOVED our experience with Dotti and her team. We had never used a caterer before and she made it very easy to walk us through the process, listen to our needs, and provide many special touches to make our party a huge success. Our family and friends are still talking about the party, in particular the food. And whatever event you ask Dotti to cater, make sure you include her Grandma’s ginger cookies on the menu–a huge hit as people were climbing over chocolate to get to them and there was not a crumb left. Would highly recommend.

Well, summer is over! I have to say the highlight of ours was our party on August 23rd. And, a large reason for the success of our party was your delicious creations. Everything was so tasty and people raved about your food for weeks after the party. Thank you so much for your hard work and wonderful food. Joe was so happy with everything you made, and I know our guests loved everything because they all gobbled everything up – unfortunately for us, no leftovers! The coconut shrimp was a favorite item; we’ll be ordering more of that for future parties.

I wanted to take a minute and THANK YOU for the phenomenal catering job at my home for our holiday party. The food and presentation was beyond my expectations and I have been handling my complements. I can’t say enough about how good the food was you prepared for my wife’s Birthday brunch. It was a major hit and almost stole the show because everyone kept saying the food was soooo good! Just a short note to let you know what a beautiful and wonderful job you did in catering my daughter’s bridal shower. The festivities started off at the chocolate fountain with awesome strawberries, pineapple and bananas along with the biscotti, pretzels, etc., which was so much fun to begin with not to mention delicious!. I was a nervous wreck about the food. This was the first time in 30 years that I’ve given a party and had anyone else besides me do the cooking. I have to tell you that you did a fabulous job. Both my daughters and I are severe critics when it comes to food. The food was out of this world! So many times you can be really stuck with an awful salad mixture but yours were out of this world. All the croissants and breads were fresh and arranged so nicely. The coleslaw was just right with a delicate combination sauce that everyone raved about. The potato salad (which my family is so fussy about) was sooo good!. It wasn’t just me but all of us just were wild over the food. To finish off with five 6″ cakes were amazing. The chocolate was decadent, the red velvet (my favorite) was delicious as were the cheesecake and the other two cakes. Decorated so nicely! I would highly recommend you and your company to anyone. I certainly hope to be able to do a party again with your expertise and talents. You truly were not a disappointment on any level. Thank you again for letting me enjoy the day with my daughter instead of being in the kitchen for hours on end.

We’ve had many desserts from Brown Sugar Catering – fruit tarts, mousse cakes, cheese cakes – and all have been wonderful, but my particular favorite is the frangipane. It’s just fabulous. The service is outstanding and the food is even better.
